All awardees will be conferred with their awards at a five star gala evening event which will be held in Kenya on the 1st of August 2024. The strictly by invitation event will bring together the cream de la cream of corporate Africa, comprising award winning CEOs and their guests, award winning chambers and their guests as well as representatives of multilateral trade and investment institutions (including AfCFTA itself) covering both intra African activities and business/economic relations between Africa and other regions of the world and global economic activity. Top tier representatives of the diplomatic community in Africa, top leaders of thought and civil society in Africa and the international media will also be in attendance.

The event will provide a unique opportunity for leading corporate chieftains continent wide captains of commerce and direct investors to interact, network and form alliances, partnerships and collaborations to create top grade supply and value chains that transcend national and sub-regional boundaries, with respective chamber of commerce chieftains available to guide participants with regards to due diligence.

Importantly the event will provide an excellent opportunity for attendees to establish continent-wide personal/professional reputations and exemplary corporate images for the institutions they lead.

No fee whatsoever will be charged for participating in this novel award scheme and for conferment with awards. However winners will be required to commit to personally attending the awards conferment ceremony in Mauritius. In certain circumstances however awardees could send senior level representatives, acceptable to the organizers. This would be evaluated on a case by case basis. This condition is to ensure the credibility and success of the scheme’s flagship event in the eyes of stakeholders and the general public across Africa and beyond. Attendees at the event will be required to reserve tables for themselves and their respective entourages to enable the organizers make the necessary arrangements for hosting them. Attendees would also be required to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. However the organizers will make arrangements that will allow attendees enjoy significant discounts on airfares and hotel accommodation should they accept to use the services of partner airlines and hotels.
